Short Description #
The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Programme is an integrated combination of general education and high quality business studies. Admitted students can investigate different concentrations by completing a common Year 1 curriculum and must declare their concentration by the end of Year 1.
Students can choose from one of the following concentrations which they will specialise from Year 2 onwards:
- Economics and Data Analytics
- Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation
- Finance
- Human Resources Management
- Information Systems and Business Intelligence
- Marketing
- Strategic Retail Management and Innovation
The School does not set any quota and will accommodate students’ choice of Concentration. Additional graduation options include a Double Concentration within the BBA, or a Minor in a non-business discipline.

Two Cities, Two Degrees in Four Years
Double Degree Programme with NEOMA Business School
Students accepted to the programme will earn two degrees by spending the first two years in HKBU BBA and the final two years in NEOMA Business School (NBS) in France. French courses and 6-month internship opportunities will be offered to help students further immerse in French culture and develop business networks. Participants are expected to expand their global vision and fully equip themselves in the job market upon completion of the programme. Double Degree Programme with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) (subject to approval)
The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) is one of Switzerland’s leading universities. By spending the first and final year at HKBU BBA, and the second and third year at FHNW, students will receive a BBA and a Bachelor in Business Administration (International Management) conferred by HKBU and FHNW respectively. The programme equips students the necessary knowledge and competencies to work across multiple functions and cultures.
Double Degree Programme with Kozminski University
The Double Degree Programme in business with Kozminski University (KU) is designed for students who wish to build a strong business and financial foundation by studying in the two leading financial hub cities. Students admitted to the BBA Programme will have the opportunity to spend the first one and a half year course of study at HKBU BBA, then another one and a half year at KU in Poland, then another one year at HKBU BBA. Selected students are granted propitious opportunities to receive world class education from both institutions, and to be awarded degrees from HKBU and KU. Experiential Learning Requirement
All BBA students are required to complete at least 120 hours of experiential learning activities (exchange/internship/service learning) before graduation.
Self e-Learning Requirement
All BBA students must have completed 40 hours of courses on LinkedIn Learning platform during their studies at HKBU to be qualified for graduation.

2) The other elective can be any of the following subjects:
a) Category A subjects (including Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2));
b) Category B (Applied Learning) subjects with “Attained with Distinction (I)” or above.
Remarks on other requirements:
1) Good result in English Language subject is preferred.
2) Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend interview.

- Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2) and Category C subjects (Other Languages) at Grade C or above can be recognised for fulfilment of the second elective requirement.
- Individual programmes may consider Category B subjects (Applied Learning) with “Attained with Distinction (I)” or above for fulfilment of the second elective requirement (excluding the subjects under the study area of “Applied Learning Chinese” which are recognised as an alternative Chinese language qualification for non-Chinese speaking students).
- In general, the scores for Category A subjects are converted as follows:
5**=7, 5*=6, 5=5, 4=4, 3=3, 2=2, 1=1 - The scores for Category B subjects are converted as follows:
Attained with Distinction (II) =4, Attained with Distinction (I) =3 - The scores for Category C subjects are converted as follows:
A=7, B=5.5, C=4, D=2.5, E=1
Note 4: “Attained” in Citizenship and Social Development (CSD) will not be included in the admission score calculation. Applicants with Level 2 or above in Liberal Studies subject attained in 2023 or before would be accepted in lieu of CSD for fulfilling the GERs. Following the handling of CSD, results of Liberal Studies subject would not be given any score in score calculation starting from the 2024 entry
